Put on your big boy pants. It's go time.
The Schedule
Two tournaments. Zero excuses.
The first major of the Ratchet League season. The River Scum Classic has been a sacred tradition since literally yesterday — a day where the river giveth and the river taketh away (mostly your golf balls). Named not out of disrespect for the river, but out of deep affection for the type of golf that gets played alongside it.
Full 18 holes, ratchet league rules, and a pre round banquet.
This is it. The big one. The crown jewel of the Ratchet League calendar. The Ratchet League Cup is the season championship — the moment when all the trash talk, all the side bets, and all the questionable course management decisions come to a head. It is often referred to as the "Masters of Minnesota" One player will emerge victorious and be crowned the Ratchet League Champion.
18 holes. Ratchet League rules will give every member a genuine shot at glory regardless of what they shot in the regular season. Past champions include league comissioner, Andrew Hove.
What to Expect
Read this. Seriously.
Show Up On Time
Tee times are real. The course doesn't care about your excuses. Show up late and you buy the first round. That's not an official bylaw but it might as well be.
Dress Code
Dress codes are for the birds
Side Bets
Skins, closest to the pin, longest drive — all permitted and encouraged. All bets are gentleman's agreements. Pay up. Welching on a bet is the fastest way to lose your spot in the league.
The One Rule
Have fun. Seriously. If you're not having fun you're doing it wrong. And also: replace your divots. We're not animals.
Past Champions
Those who have held the trophy. The hall of the almost-great.
